Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe

This banana chocolate chip muffin recipe has some healthy ingredients in it and the muffins are moist and delicious.


3 ripe bananas
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
(Makes 12)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

In a large bowl,combine bananas, oil, sugar, vanilla and egg and mix well with an electric mixer.

Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a separate bowl.

Add the flour mixture to banana mixture, mixing until just blended.The batter will be lumpy.

Fill muffin tins about 2/3 full.

Put into the preheated oven and bake 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when poked into the center of the muffin.
