Banana Chocolate Smoothies Recipe

This banana chocolate smoothie uses chocolate milk and adds the nutrional benefit of a fresh banana to the smoothie.
1 cup chocolate almond milk or chocolate soymilk
( Makes 1 serving)
Combine the frozen banana and chocolate milk into a blender and whirl for a couple of minutes, until bananas are incorporated.
Smoothies are extra delicious when they are nice and cold and thick. In Grandmother's Kitchen we like to use frozen bananas.
If you know you are going to make smoothies, when you bring your bananas home, just peel them, chop them into pieces about an inch long and put them in a freezing container that has a lid. Then, when you want to have a smoothie, just take some frozen banana pieces and add them to your drink mix.
