Glazed Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

This glazed cinnamon rolls recipe is for those using a bread machine.

Ingredients

ROLLS

3/4 cup water, plus
2 Tablespoons water
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon bread machine yeast

FILLING

2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup raisins

GLAZE

1 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoon milk

Makes about 9 Rolls

Directions

Grease a 9 inch square pan with oil.

Dough

Place all ingredients in bread machine and run the dough cycle.

Roll out dough to 9 inch square on a lightly floured surface.

Whisk together sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush melted butter over dough and spread cinnamon sugar over melted butter. Sprinkle raisin on top. Roll the dough up tightly, and cut off the ends. Cut the rolled up dough into 1 inch pieces, and place into prepared pan. Cover rolls with plastic and let rise for about an hour or until they've doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 375F and bake for 20 minutes or until tops of buns are golden brown.

Glaze

Whisk together sugar, vanilla and milk until smooth.

Mix powdered sugar, vanilla and milk to make glaze, drizzle over rolls and serve warm.
