Meatloaf Recipe

This meatloaf recipe is so quick to make and is very tasty with its sweet ketchup sauce.

Ingredients

Meatloaf
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 slice dry bread chopped finely
1 egg
1 small sweet onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 Tablespoons ketchup
1/2-2/3 cup whole milk

Sauce
4 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 Tablespoons dark brown sugar, packed firm
1/2 cup ketchup

Directions

Meatloaf

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Have ready a loaf pan.

Mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt and pepper, ketchup and milk together. Place into the loaf baking dish and flatten out the top.

Sauce

In a small bowl, stir the sauce ingredients together and pour over top.

Place into the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until done.

Tip:

Make a second batch of sauce and heat it in a small saucepan of the stovetop to serve with the meatloaf.
