Pasta Back Bacon Bake Recipe

A hearty and rich recipe for back bacon pasta bake. Great enjoyed with a fresh salad.
6 slices back bacon
2 Tablespoons butter
3 Tablespoons all purpose flour
1 cup milk
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 8-9 inch baking dish.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Cut bacon into small pieces and fry until crispy, place on paper towels to drain.
In a large sauce pan, melt butter over medium low heat. Stir in flour then milk whisking occasionally for 2-3 minutes. Stir in 1 cup of cheese until it has melted. mix in cooked macaroni and pour into greased baking dish. Top with cooked bacon and then remaining cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden.
