Simple Beef Stirfry Recipe

This 15 minute delicious meal is so flavorful and also nutritious.

Ingredients

1 cup rice, uncooked
1/2 white onion, diced
1 Tablespoon butter
1 fresh jalepeno, cut into slices (note- suggestions below will vary depending on the jalepeno)
* Use 1 slice - mild
* Use 4 slices - medium
* Use whole jalepeno - hot
1 pound lean ground beef
10 medium white mushrooms, quartered
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 head of broccoli, cut into small bite sized pieces
1 red pepper, sliced into long strips
1/4 cup sesame seeds

Directions

Cook rice according to instructions.

Heat a large saucepan over medium-high.

Add butter and onion and jalepeno slices and saute until onion is transluscent.

Add ground beef and cook, stirring often, until the meat is no longer pink.

Add quartered mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, stirring.

Season with soy sauce, salt and pepper.

Add broccocli and red pepper and cook for 5 minutes, stirring.

Serve on top of rice and garnish with sesame seeds.

Note: If you do not like spicy, remove the jalepenos before eating.
